Jeff Sims will step in against the Cyclones, who are 12-3 as a conference favorite of fewer than seven points. Sims is yet another well-traveled signal caller who had stops in Nebraska and Georgia Tech before Tempe. He catches a break with ISU losing a third starting DB for the season when Khijohnn Cummings-Coleman was lost. Revenge may be on the mind of ISU HC Matt Campbell, who’s 16-8 ATS in a John Wick game when coming off a loss. Toss in 7-1 ATS in a revenge game when the other team is coming off a loss, plus an apparent signifi cant edge at quarterback, and the Cyclones appear on the cusp of a third straight bowl visit. It won’t be as cool as last year’s giant toaster pastry in the winning locker room bowl, though.
